ICSI or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection is a procedure in which the sperm is injected directly into the egg using a very fine, micro equipment . The fertilized egg is then allowed to be grown in optimal conditions in the laboratory to form an embryo. The developed embryo is then transferred into the woman’s uterus.
